Worked perfectly better than I expected |

I used to get out a big A/C manifold pressure sensor and 5, 10 or 25 lb tank when only needing to top off 1 or 2lbs. Leak Stop Freon R410A 28.2 oz. Disposable One Step Can costs more per pound but the ease of use is fantastic. I tried it this time on a 16 year-old 2.5 ton Trane XL14i system. I simply connected the included Three-in-one R410A, R404A, R22 Gauge with 1/4" SAE Fitting & Hose to the low pressure line, held upside down, pressed button 3-4 times over 10-15 minutes until it reached the "Blue" zone between 100-135, and that was it. While I normally check the high pressure side and monitor superheat, this was perfect for a quick job. The compressor is running quieter and smoother too, there had been noise from vibration, it’s gone now. When I have more time I'll go back and check pressures and superheat for efficiency purpose, and check for remaining leaks if any, but for now it worked perfectly better than I expected.
