Upon installing replacement evaporator coil, lines were pressure tested and evacuated. Upon opening condenser service valve to release the factor charged freon into the system the Freon all went shooting out the new evaporator coil as there as an open copper line that should have been pinched and brazed shut. The new evaporator coil was supposed to come sealed and pre-charged with .55 lbs of Freon which it did not, and created a situation by which part of the 15 lbs of pre-charged Freon in the condenser was lost also.
