This wi-fi enabled, smart thermostat is the perfect complement to my 2-stage Rheem furnace. It was very easy to install as well as to program a 7-day schedule. The thermostat appears to anticipate temperature changes and never lets room temperature drop below the set point or to go more than 1 degree above it. Engages the high heat stage of the furnace sparingly. Love the home/away toggle switch and the ability to monitor and adjust the system while away from home.

The Reem/Ruud Econet thermostat worked great and was much less expensive than other vendors. One issue however is while my furnace is Econet compatible, my outside AC unit is not so I had to enter the thermostat service menu to configure the thermostat for a single stage, non-communicating, AC unit.

This thermostat works perfectly on my Ruud furnace. It is a communicating thermostat that brings up all diagnostics and status of my furnace. It also holds temperature very well and doesn't overshoot.
